My name is Xinning. I joined Wetlands International Europe as an intern in the Peatland Team in 2025. I am passionate about contributing to the protection and restoration of wetland ecosystems. I am particularly interested in applying ecological knowledge together with policy tools to address sustainability challenges in an integrated way.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development at KU Leuven, specializing in the Ecology track. With a background in Marine Science, I have gained experience in areas such as wastewater management, conservation biology, and sustainable development. These experiences reflect my strong commitment to ecological innovation and nature-based solutions.
