Peatlands Policy Assistant
As Peatlands Policy Assistant intern, my role is to support the peatlands team with research, advocacy work, and the dissemination of our activities. I joined Wetlands International’s European Association as part of my Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University & Research. My background mainly surrounds water systems, climate/land use change, and ecosystem services, with a consistent focus on peatland landscapes.
I am fluent in French and English, with a growing intermediate level in Dutch. In my spare time I love hiking, climbing, board games, and reading.
As I am increasingly amazed by wetlands the more I learn about them, I am truly motivated by being able to work in an organisation which shares my fascination for this ecosystem.
