Carsyn Harvey
Communications Assistant
Hi! My name is Carsyn. I recently moved to Brussels from Canada. I am currently working as a volunteer Communications Assistant with Wetlands Internationals in order to gain more experience in the Sustainability and NGO sector in Europe.
Before moving to Brussels I worked at an ice hockey museum, managing communications, fundraising, and special events. A central theme in my work was the connection between sport, nature, and heritage. I am driven by a personal passion for sustainability and climate activism, and hope to bring this enthusiasm to the work I will do with Wetlands International.
I have a BA in History from the University of Waterloo and an MA in Museum Studies from Durham University. I have lived in five different countries throughout my life, and am excited to add Brussels to the list of places I can call home!
Outside of work you can find me exploring new cafes, practicing my French, or playing video games.
