EUROLakes Replication Call is Now Open!

We are pleased to invite your organisation to apply for the EUROLakes Replication Call for Associated Regions, supported by the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Union. This initiative offers local and regional authorities across Europe the opportunity to replicate cutting-edge, nature-based solutions for the restoration of natural lakes, inspired by successful demonstration projects in Italy, Germany, and Romania.
Through this call, EUROLakes will provide financial support of up to €75,000 to 3 successful projects. The selected regions will co-develop and implement tailored plans to restore natural lakes using the 4 Returns Framework methodology, with direct mentorship and support from EUROLakes experts and demonstration sites.
Eligibility:
The call is open to local and regional authorities (municipalities, conservation agencies, regional governments) from EU Member States (except Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, and the UK) and from Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Applicants must be responsible for managing or protecting natural lakes and their catchment areas.
