To celebrate Fish Migration Day, our Spanish member CIREF (Centro ibérico de restauración fluvial) is hosting an exciting visit to the Palancia River in Teresa, Castellón. The excursion will allow participants to explore the fascinating world of river ecology, learn about water quality measurement techniques and discover ecological fishing practices. In line with the Swimways project, the event will highlight the crucial need to conserve river ecosystems and improve fish migration routes 

Save the date on your calendars for Saturday, 3 June and prepare for a day of enriching experiences from approximately 9 am to 5 pm. A lunch picnic will be provided, and convenient bus transportation will be arranged from the Gandia and Vera campuses of the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV).
