WATER TALK: Women, water and wetlands!
The connections between women and wetlands matter for peace and security. This lab debate at the European Development Days in Brussels will look at how women can be key agents for change. With the right resources, women can play a key role in decreasing risks of drought, loss of livelihoods, involuntary migration and conflicts. The debate is organised by Wetlands International European Association and partners, and chaired by Julie Mulonga of Wetlands International East Africa.
Attendees of the European Development Days can participate via the official EDD app; elsewhere, please follow the Wetlands International Twitter account for further details.
