Hi, my name is Luca, I was born in Washington D.C., and currently live in the Netherlands. 

Throughout my life I have moved around a lot, exposing me to extensive varieties in wildlife and sparking my passion for nature and biodiversity conservation!

I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, and joined Wetlands International Europe as a Waterbirds Technical Assistant to be a part of the team working on the 9^th edition of the AEWA Conservation Status Report. I am excited to be a part of this project, and look forward to working in the diverse team of Wetlands International Europe.
