Peatlands Project Assistant
At Wetlands International Europe, I work as Project Assistant, supporting the coordination and implementation of EU-funded Horizon Europe projects for peatland and wetland restoration. This work is at the intersection of climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, water management and policy, with crucial engagement of different stakeholders.
I hold a Bsc in Environmental Sciences, and a Msc in International Land and Water Management, where I had the opportunity to study worldwide cases of natural hazards and disasters, agricultural water management, and nature-based solutions for hydrological extremes. What motivates me the most in my field is the possibility to engage with people who have different views on a singular issue, and bring ideas together to find integrated solutions.
I am an expressive person, passionate about discovering various cultures, learning languages, and dancing. In my free time I like to run, play board games, watch movies (a lot of movies), and attending dance classes and socials.
