Peatlands Officer
As Peatlands Policy Officer for Wetlands International Europe, my role is to ensure that European domestic policies preserve and restore peatlands throughout Europe. My work consists in advocating for healthy peatlands, which are crucial for climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation and disaster prevention.
Before joining Wetlands International Europe, I gained experience in the EU institutions, corporates and consultancy sectors, where I focused on environmental and sustainability-related topics from different perspectives.
I hold a BSc in European Studies and an LLM in Law and Sustainable Development from the University of Milan.
I speak Italian, English, German, and I am working on my French ! 🙂
