Hello, I’m Bila! I joined Wetlands International Europe as a Communications Intern. At WIE, I support our communications across web and social media. I help plan content, create infographics and carousels, draft captions and short articles, and assist with newsletters, events, and partner outreach. I love turning complex conservation work into clear, friendly stories that invite people in.
I am currently a second-year master’s student in Forest and Nature Conservation at Wageningen University. I focused on phenological response research in Indonesia for my thesis. Alongside my studies, I’ve been active in science communication, working on campaigns, infographics, and student-led environmental projects.
I cook and travel a lot; I love discovering new places and invite my friends over to eat my food!
