I join Wetlands International as a Communications Officer. My role is to contribute to the protection and restoration of wetlands – including rivers, lakes and peatlands – and their biodiversity by communicating and amplifying the work of Wetlands International’s Europe office.
I bring with me several years of experience in environment and science communications having worked as a communications officer for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Brussels and the climate science institute Climate Analytics in Berlin. Prior to that, I worked as a journalist and editor in Brussels covering mostly environmental and agricultural affairs.
I have a master’s degree in international law, including a concentration on international biodiversity law.
