Union for the Mediterranean: we urge 43 Ministers to integrate wetlands in their action plans

On behalf of a coalition of organisations working across the Mediterranean to protect wetlands anud advance sustainable water management, we sent a letter to the 43 Ministers responsible for water and representing the Union for the Mediterranean Member States.
On Friday 25th September, ahead of the second Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) ministerial meeting on water in Rome, we requested their support in ensuring that wetlands and water-related ecosystems are explicitly brought to the attention of their delegation, and included in the post-ministerial action plans, especially with regards to the implementation of the Ministerial Declaration, the Rome Initiative on Water, and the broader UfM agenda.
