Nature Restoration Regulation Policy Assistant
My name is Vera and I will be joining the Wetlands International Europe team as the Nature Restoration Regulation Policy Intern from the Ede office. I am very excited to dive into the national plans for the NRR and work with you all the coming 5 months!
I am currently completing my MSc Forest and Nature Conservation, specializing in Policy & Society, at Wageningen University. While my BSc Global Sustainability Science also focused on governance, my interdisciplinary studies included a diversity of classes such as ecosystem management and analysis, wildlife ecology, and environmental economics. With this broad background, I am excited to work at the science-policy interface within environmental governance to enable more holistically sustainable futures for our natural environment!
In my free time, I love to travel and spend time outside, or cozy-up with a cup of tea and a book. Also, I really enjoy dancing and playing board games!
