Happy world migratory bird day! For this special day, follow the journey of one Aquatic Warbler and discover how the LIFE AWOM project helps us understand and protect its migration route.
- Where does it travel?
- Where does it stop along the way?
- And what do we do to help make this journey possible?
Understanding migration is an essential step towards protecting the wetlands that the Aquatic Warbler and other migratory birds depend on throughout their journey.
Swipe through the cartoon below to discover the work of our LIFE Programme project to keep the Aquatic Warbler’s migration route alive: from tracking its movements to conserving the habitats it needs along the way.
