A significant new collaboration between the African-Eurasian Waterbird Agreement (AEWA) and Leica Camera AG will provide multi-year support to important waterbird monitoring activities such as the International Waterbird Census.
The three-year partnership commits funds to the Waterbird Fund hosted by Wetlands International and equipment to improve monitoring. We will work with other members of the African-Eurasian Waterbird Monitoring Partnership ensure the funds and equipment will improve our knowledge on the current status of waterbird populations in the African-Eurasian flyway.
