Policy Officer, Peatlands

As Peatlands Policy Officer for Wetlands International European Association, my role is to ensure that European domestic policies preserve and restore peatlands throughout Europe. My work consists in advocating for healthy peatlands, which are crucial for climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation and disaster prevention.

I previously spent five years at the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), Brussels, advocating for the prevention of chemicals pollution to achieve a toxic-free future and detoxifying the circular economy. I have also worked on international chemicals policies and legislations with the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL), Geneva.

I have a LL.M. in Environmental and Risks Law and in International and European Law from the University of Strasbourg (France) and a LL.B. from the University of Nancy (France).  I also hold a University Diploma in Environmental Pollution and Nuisances from Strasbourg’s University.

I speak English, French, and I can understand Italian, Spanish and German.
